AUTOMATIC
GAS
VALVE
The
Automatic
Gas
Valve
is a
normally closed
two-stage,
electro/mechanical device which
either
allows
gas to
flow
to the
burner
or
prevents
it
from
doing
so.
When
the
valve
is
energized,
a
spring-loaded
plunger
is
lifted
to
permit
the
flow
of
gas.
Removing power from
the
valve
drops
the
plunger down into
the
inlet
to
prevent
gas
from
passing through.
